At 22 inches wide with an 11.5-inch deck height, the 15s creates the kind of close cockpit fit that gives smaller and medium-sized paddlers genuine hip control, secure thigh brace contact, and a low-angle paddle stroke without knuckle-knocking interference from the hull. The Contour Seat System slides four inches fore and aft, which makes a meaningful difference for shorter-legged paddlers who have struggled to find solid foot brace contact in standard-sized touring kayaks. Despite its compact dimensions, the shallow V hull, moderate rocker, and sharp low-entry bow keep it surprisingly quick and allow it to hold pace with longer sea kayaks on the water.

Stability is high in both primary and secondary, with fuller sidewalls and defined flat spots that make edging feel reassuring rather than anxious. The lower back deck height supports an easy laid-back roll, and wet exits and re-entries are uncomplicated thanks to the low profile fore and aft. Three Press-Lock thermoform hatches cover generous bow and stern storage plus a centre day hatch right in front of the cockpit for on-water essentials. Steering is managed by Delta's Seadog gas pedal style rudder system, keeping foot input natural and your focus on the paddle.
