This is a LC2 Petit Club Lounge Chair, originally designed in 1928 by Le Corbusier and his collaborators, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand. This particular example was produced by Cassina in Italy in the 2000s. The chair is comprised of a steel frame and has cushions upholstered in black leather. This silhouette is widely considered to be the ultimate triumph in Bauhaus ingenuity, evident in its tubular chromed-steel construction. The aforementioned designers referred to these pieces as “household equipment”, a rather amusing way to look at furniture.

The chair measures 29.5 inches deep, 27.75 inches wide, and 26.5 inches high with a seat height of 19.25 inches. This piece does show some wear consistent with previous use, but overall is in very good condition. Please see photos.
