• Details:  This is a very beautiful bone china cup with matching saucer.  The pattern shows a mix of multicolor Pansies (aka Violas), in purple, blue and yellow against a bright white bone china background.  There are larger flowers on one side, smaller on the other.  Both the saucer and the cup have a gold rim that is "ruffled", the cup is ruffled all around, creating a beautiful effect.  They are stamped: "Royal Dover China, Bone China, Made in England".  A lovely set, ideal for the tea cup collector,  as a Mother's Day gift, for a beautiful Spring luncheon, Tea Party or for a Bridal Shower gift, or of course for your favorite tea lover or you!  
• Materials:  Bone China
• Dimensions:  Saucer: 5.75 inches in Diameter.  Cup: 2.75 inches Tall and 3.5 inches in Diameter (top opening).  
• Condition:  Vintage - Used.  Very Good Vintage Condition.  There is some crazing, Otherwise, no other issues noted.  The gold rims are in excellent condition. Please review all pictures and make sure you love this item before purchasing, we can't accept returns.  Please remember these are VINTAGE and ANTIQUE items, they are NOT new, every effort has been made to show any scratches, wear  and imperfections. 

We were unable to find much written about Royal Dover China, only that they were in business in the mid to late 20th century.  As far as we can see, they only made teacups, all in Bone China.
