Wilderness Systems Pungo 125 Kayak

For recreational paddlers who want a kayak that feels immediately stable and confidence-inspiring while still covering water efficiently, the Pungo 125 represents the sweet spot in one of the most trusted lineups in the industry.

The Pungo 125 is the longest model in the updated Pungo series, carrying all the improvements introduced in 2019 alongside a hull design that has earned a loyal following for good reason. The multi-chined hull with flared sides delivers exceptional initial and secondary stability, making accidental capsizing genuinely unlikely, while the full-length keel and sharp ends keep the boat tracking efficiently without feeling sluggish. The full bow lifts over waves rather than ploughing through them, which makes a noticeable difference on windy Ontario lakes and open water crossings.

The redesigned Kayak Konsole is one of the most practical cockpit setups in recreational kayaking, integrating a removable dry box for valuables, a mini SlideTrax rail for mounting accessories, and a recessed area for the Wilderness Systems lithium battery (sold separately). The large easy-entry cockpit is the biggest available that still accommodates a spray skirt, and the Phase 3 AirPro seat with adjustable backband, thigh braces, and moisture-wicking seat pan keeps you comfortable through long paddling days. An Orbix turn-and-lock stern hatch with rear bulkhead seals dry storage reliably, and versatile bow deck rigging adds further customisation options.
